3 - A course about cooking techniques, carried out in Tena from 27th to 30th September 2004 for a total duration of 23 hours. 
4 - “El agua es vida” (“Water is Life-giving”), a 24-hour-long forum. I acted as assistant in the 2nd workshop which dealt with the development and management of the River Napo valley. From 12th to 14th January 2005.
5 – A course about selling techniques for tour agencies dealing with how to sell tour packages, carried out in Tena from 5th to 6th May 2006 for a total duration of 20 hours.

9 – A course about strategic development planning regarding sustainable tourism in Ecuador for 2020 (PLANDETUR 2020) for the Amazon region. This took place in Tena on 4th July 2007.

20 – A lifesaving course for rafting guides in Tena took place from 7th to 8th January 2011 for a total duration of 18 hours. 
21 – A refresher course for local tour guides took place in Tena from 14th to 25th March 2011 for a total duration of 48 hours.
22 – A course for Guides in the Amazon region: Module One' took place in the community of Mondaña in the canton of Tena from 01/ 10/ 2011 to 09/ 12/ 2012, for a total duration of 182 hours. It was carried out in association with the Yachana Foundation, the Ministry of Tourism and the Multilateral Investment Fund, part of the BID Group. The course dealt with hospitality, Spanish language development, English, First Aid, lifesaving and survival, environmental and tourism laws, leadership and management of conflicts, national realities, work ethics, etiquette and protocol. The executive director was Douglas McMeekin and the headmaster was José Forteza.
