Day 1:

At 08:30 am you will be picked up from your hotel in either the Tena or Misahualli Port. A second meeting point will be the central park of Puerto Misahuallí. From here, we will travel by private vehicle for more than 2 hours, until we reach the bridge of the Nushino River, Waorani territory. Before Continuing by canoe down the river, the guide will give a general talk about the area. Then, we will go to the Dayuno sector, where we will set up our camp in tents, to spend the first night.

After lunch, we will take a 4 hour walk in the virgin forest, accompanied by a native Waorani guide; we will discover the fauna and flora, observe monkeys and espectacular birds.

We will finish the day with a delicious dinner.

Day 2

We break camp and continue by canoe down the river, observing beautiful birds. We will make a stop to hike in the primary rainforest.

During the trip, we will have several technical stops to learn about the "Green ecology" of the tropical rainforest. We will learn about vascular, epiphytes, monoecious and dioecious plants. We will learn about ornithology, entomology and Herpetofauna.

On the way back to the river, a delicious lunch will be waiting for us. Here, on a beach, we will make another campsite.

In the afternoon, it will be possible to swim in the river or do some sport fishing. In the evening we will take a night walk to discover insects, arthropods, amphibians and nocturnal monkeys.

Day 3:

We will navigate by canoe until we reach the home of a Waorani family, where we will make a technical stop to visit them and give them some gifts.

We will continue to another place, where we will camp on a white sandy beach.

After lunch, we will walk through the virgin forest, where we will discover its fauna, we will find species of monkeys, guans, and toucans.

Before enjoying a delicious dinner, there will be time to swim in the river.

Day 4:

We will canoe downstream until we reach the Ishpingo sector. Here we will hike in the jungle for 3 hours, discovering its fauna and flora. We will observe monkeys and different species of birds. Afterwards, we will make camp on the banks of the river, on a white sandy beach.

In the afternoon, we will go canoeing to observe freshwater turtles and several species of monkeys, and it is possible to practice sport fishing. After dinner, we will take a night walk.

Day 5:

This day we will navigate by river to another place, where we will do another camping in the jungle. During the navigation, you will be able to observe the virgin forest, a multitude of bird species, monkeys and turtles.

After lunch, we will take a walk through the virgin forest.

In the evening, we will do night navigation, to observe caimans.

Day 6:

Before 06:00 am we will sail down the river for about 3 hours, observing monkeys and birds. Return to the campsite to enjoy breakfast.

We will break camp and return upriver, where we will spend the last night in the house of a Waorani family, and we will make another camp on a sandy beach.

We will finish the day enjoying a delicious dinner.

Day 7:

In the morning, after breakfast, we will return by canoe upstream, against the current, until we reach the bridge where we will have a delicious lunch.

Finally, we will continue by private vehicle to Puerto Misahuallí, where the 5 to 7 day tour will end around 4 pm.

• We guarantee to observe the following wildlife species in their natural state, depending on the weather and the time of year: amphibians, snakes, Salamanders, anonis, Invertebrates, caimans, fresh water turtles, monkeys, a multitude of bird species, sport fishing for piranhas and other species. Depending on the time of year, anaconda, Eunectes murinus, giant otter, Pteronura Brasilensis, 2- and 3-toed Sloth bear, harpy eagle, King groups can be found.
